He highlighted that the J&K Legislative Assembly maintains an average of 28 sittings, which is higher than the national average of 24. The Speaker pointed out that several other states and union territories have held fewer sittings during their respective monsoon sessions, including:

- Delhi: 3 sittings
- Haryana: 3 sittings
- Gujarat: 3 sittings
- Goa: 3 sittings
- Rajasthan: 2 sittings
- Madhya Pradesh: 5 sittings
