Police Raid in Haripar Village
Rajkot Range Police has taken major action against suspected adulterated milk activity in Haripar village under Kalavad Rural Police Station in Jamnagar district. According to the August 23, 2026 report, the homes and dairies of six suspected milk traders were raided.
The operation resulted in the seizure of around 7,150 litres of suspected milk. Police also recovered 120 kg of vegetable ghee and 15 kg of milk-making powder.
Action Following Instructions from Nirlipt Rai
According to the report, Deputy Inspector General of Police, Rajkot Range, Nirlipt Rai (IPS), had directed teams to take strict action against businesses involved in adulterating everyday products in a way that could affect public health.
Based on information received by the police, the team conducted technical analysis and investigation before carrying out the raids in Haripar.
Raids Conducted at Six Suspected Locations
Police searched the residences of six suspected milk traders and different dairies located nearby. Suspected milk and materials allegedly used in preparing milk products were found during the operation.

Food Safety Officials Collected Samples
Police informed the Food Safety Department after the suspected material was found. Food Safety officials reached the location, collected necessary samples and sealed the relevant material.
The report states that the suspected milk, vegetable ghee and milk powder were destroyed in a manner intended to avoid harm to human health and the environment.
Legal Action Against Milk Traders
Further legal proceedings have been initiated by the Food Safety Department against those allegedly involved in the suspected adulterated milk business.
