The India Meteorological Department (IMD) has issued a fresh Gujarat rain alert for parts of the state as the monsoon remains active. According to the latest midday weather bulletin, authorities have categorized the warning into orange and yellow alerts based on expected rainfall intensity over the next 24 hours.
Gujarat rain alert: Orange Alert for Dahod and Chhota Udepur
An orange alert has been issued specifically for the districts of Dahod and Chhota Udepur. The IMD forecasts very heavy rainfall, ranging between 12 cm and 20 cm, at isolated locations within these districts. Farmers in these areas should monitor local conditions closely as such significant precipitation may impact ongoing agricultural activities.
Yellow Alert for Other Regions
In addition to the orange alert, the IMD has declared a yellow alert for several other districts across the state. This warning indicates the potential for heavy rainfall in the affected regions.
